Welcome to The Owl’s Nest!

The Owl’s Nest Retreat
A weekend long retreat for women who use the arts to engage community.
Friday, February 3rd at 3:00pm through Sunday, February 5th at noon, 2012.

This weekend retreat will offer women a chance to gather with other working professionals to explore their roles as facilitators, program directors, artists and scholars in a creative, comforting, natural setting. Using our own stories as source and resource, we’ll discover ways to build community and carve and create new ideas in our work. We will experiment with, share and explore devising techniques. All weekend long we will reflect and relax while generating opportunities for connection and discovery.

Welcome to -

Nest - a home place, a place to rest, a place to build community.

Owls - wise, high-flying, all-seeing creatures who study, observe and reflect before taking action.  Same with the women who will come together at this retreat – those who are interested in generously sharing, consciously reflecting and engaging in thoughtful dialogue, all with the purpose of taking action in their own lives.

The Owl’s Nest - a weekend retreat for women to come together and use the tools of their arts to reflect, share, create, discuss, be quiet, think through, rejuvenate and relax.
